Welcome To The Nova Scotia Council!

Scouting in Nova Scotia serves over 2000 youth who make up over 60 groups located in communities all throughout the province. Supporting our groups is a team of approximately 800 dedicated volunteers who bring our program to life.

Whether it's tidal bore rafting down the Shubenacadie River, hiking the Cape Breton Highlands, or simply meeting new people around a campfire on the shore, scouts have fun adventures discovering new things and experiences they wouldn't discover elsewhere. Along the way, they develop into capable, confident and well-rounded individuals, better prepared for success in the world. Scouts is the start of something great. It starts with Scouts.

Land Acknowledgement for Nova Scotia

We would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we gather is the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq First Nation.
