Appointment: Nova Scotia Council Youth Commissioner

Dear Scouters,

It is my sincere pleasure to announce the appointment of Alex Wilson as the Council Youth Commissioner for Nova Scotia Council, effective immediately. Alex is currently studying Geology at St. Mary’s University.

Alex comes from a strong Scouting background. Alex started his scouting journey as a Beaver Scout and is currently a Rover Scout with the 2nd Eastern Passage Scout group.  Alex is very passionate about youth training, and growing the senior sections.

I am confident that Alex will be a strong contributor in Nova Scotia council and to the National Service Team as a whole.

I would like to thank Marissa West for her years of service as Nova Scotia Council Youth Commissioner and wish her luck as she moves on to future adventures.

Please join me, and the members of Nova Scotia Council in welcoming Alex to his new role.

Yours in Scouting,

Kaylee Galipeau

National Youth Commissioner and Chair of the National Youth Network
